2012 Invitational Entry Form AVAILABLE NOW

Entry forms for the 2012 Invitational are now posted.  You may view the tournament details on the page at right under "Home".  If you would like more details or have any questions, please call John Beckman at 803-606-0240.  We are looking forward to an outstanding fourth annual tournament, and encourage you to enter a team since we expect the field to fill up quickly.  Remember...the first 36 teams to enter are accepted into the tournament field.

Masters Mix Champion-Steve Price

Congratulations to Steve Price!!  Our third round leader holds on and claims the first annual Masters Mix Championship, finishing 18 under par.  David Aussicker from Charlotte, slipped into second place at -16.  Wes Gentry and Jose Lagos tied for third with -15.  Price, Mike Hooks, Ricky Jackson and Pete Kleemoff were all able to spot a winner before it actually happened.  These guys all had Bubba Watson in their foursome. 
Bo Van Pelt's 64 is the second-lowest score in Majors history.  His round included a hole-in-one on the 16th hole.  This is especially excitng for us at the Blog because Bo, Jason Rader, and The Director are all from Richmond, IN.  Adam Scott also aced the 16th, and helped a lot of our mixers move up with his 66 today.
Steve Price wins a 2012 Invitational golf shirt, one dozen golf balls, and a Mizuno tour golf hat.  He is a very deserving winner because he is a three-year Invitational player, blog sponsor, and always has been one of the first teams to sign up.
We hope you have enjoyed this contest as much as we have.  The Director has been making tracks between the TV clicker, the computer and the calculator.  The Blogette's fingers have been flying on the keyboard, and judging by the number of hits we have been getting, so have yours!  Be on the lookout for the Invitational tournament entry form coming soon on the Blog. 

Round Four Masters Mix Leaderboard

Here's a look at the standings of 36 participants who are entered  in our 2012 Masters Mix.  This is a FREE contest that we have created for added interest as you watch the chase for the Green Jacket in Augusta this week.  Players' pictures and their picks are posted on page to the right.  Each contestant in our Masters Mix has chosen a player from one of four categories.  The lowest score from the four players on each "team" will be posted each day and combine for a 72-hole total on the final day.  We will have updates all weekend here on the Blog.  Hope you enjoy the action in Augusta and here on the Blog.
