Local PGA tour hopeful Chip Deason shot a final round 71 Saturday for a four-day total of 279 (-5) which put him in a tie for second place at the Hombre Golf Club in Panama City, FL. Current tour player Tommy Armour led the field at this site with a 276 (-8). Chip and his caddie, Robert Peeler, move on to Q School finals, held on Nov. 30-Dec. 5 at PGA West in LaQuinta, California. The low 25 players plus ties earn PGA tour cards for 2012.
