Three cousins from Georgia are officially entered and raring to go with less than one month until tournament play. Lamar Dixon of Warner Robbins, GA, Randy Woodward from Evans, GA and team captain Ernie Timmerman of Augusta, GA will be making the trip over to Columbia on September 17. When talking with the guys recently, all three say they are looking forward to this event and a chance to compete as well as meeting some new golfing buddies to have fun with. Ernie is a fine player, and says he likes the format, playing at Spring Valley and a chance to play as a team with his cousins. I guess Thanksgiving and Christmas are just too far away, and he wants to hang out with his relatives sooner! Randy loves to play in tournaments and thinks this one will be interesting because it is different from any other he participates in. Special Olympics is a great organization, and he is happy to support them. He plans on donating a very nice prize for the cause. Cousin Lamar has his eye on the prize money, a few cold beers and some great Carrabba's food. These guys sound ready, and we hope you will get your team entered for The Invitational on September 17 at Spring Valley Country Club. The deadline for entry is September 11.
